I was born and raised in Ohio and continue to live here with my husband of twenty-five years. I am raising three children, one dog, three cats, one mouse and numerous fish. I have been artistic my entire life but did not pursue it seriously until the late 1980's. While mostly self-taught, I was lucky enough to grow up with a number of trained artists who studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art and other institutions. Their input and instruction was invaluable. I work in acrylics, colored pencil, pastels, wood, clay and textiles. I also love the art of crafting. There is nothing quite as fun as taking an old object and recycling it into a piece of art. I currently have pieces in private and corporate collections in the U.S., Canada, England, Australia and Japan. I have created work for businesses such as Lydia's House in Toledo, Ohio and many of my Blue Moon paintings grace the walls of The Blue Moon Investigation offices in Texas. I have also created fantasy based pieces for online gaming sites.
